Spokane, WA, October 2, 2007. Skyhawks Sports Academy is proud to announce it has awarded its first franchise. Rob and Sara Yoder of Goshen, Indiana, were awarded Skyhawks first franchise and will begin work soon on offering Skyhawks sports programs in communities throughout Northern Indiana.
Since 1979 more than 1,000,000 children have attended a Skyhawks program. Now, the nation’s largest provider of sports programs for kids has officially started its expansion through franchising. “Expansion through franchising has been a long term goal for Skyhawks and now it is a reality” says Skyhawks Executive Vice President and Director of Franchise Sales Chris Stiles.
“We are extremely excited to offer our years of experience in operating youth sports programs for kids to qualified individuals who want to turn their passion for children, sports, and business into a career” says Stiles. “We are looking for individuals who share our same purpose of teaching life skills through athletics in a safe, fun, and appropriately competitive environment.”
